Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any rental with Proxontra. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Rental Booking and Payment

All rentals must be booked online or via phone. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and may vary by vehicle type, rental duration, and season.

2. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the rental start time to receive a full refund. Late cancellations may incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are non-refundable.

3. Age and License Requirements

Bicycle and electric scooter rentals require participants to be at least 16 years old. Boat and yacht rentals may require a valid license or proof of experience where applicable.

4. Safety and Use

All rentals must be used strictly in accordance with Proxontra’s instructions and safety guidelines. Helmets and safety equipment must be worn where required. Participants acknowledge and accept all risks associated with the use of rented vehicles or watercraft.

5. Liability

Proxontra is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses, or property damage resulting from improper use, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions. Clients are fully responsible for any damage caused to equipment during the rental period.

6. Deposits and Damage Fees

Security deposits may be required for certain rentals. Any damage, loss, or excessive wear of equipment will be charged to the renter in accordance with the rental agreement and repair or replacement costs.

7. Changes and Availability

Proxontra reserves the right to modify rental schedules, substitute vehicles, or cancel bookings due to maintenance requirements, weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Privacy

Customer information is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK GDPR and data protection regulations.
